Add device

To create new device, navigate to the Devices menu (1)

1. The Devices menu presents list of all available devices

   List is empty in this example (0 devices)

2. Add device(s) button opens the wizard popup where you can fill the data of the new device, such as Serial, Name, Machine Model and Location

   • type the serial number, the machine name and select a machine model.

   • once you choose the model for the new device, you must select the firmware in the drop down menu that will appears right below the machine model menu after the selection

   • enter the Location (optional, the physical place where that machine will really located in): just start typing the complete address. This will produce a drop down menu from where you can select the right location address

   • in the next steps you'll have to select the group (only one) that the device will be associated with and the "Contract expiration date". This field, present when your profile has those authorizations, is to set expiration date for new machine in order to manage subscriptions if needed

   • click Confirm to terminate the procedure and your new device will be available in the device list

3. The Machine Model is a list that can be managed by accessing the Models area from the appropriate menu

To be created, a Device require to exist at least a machine model that, in turn, owns at least a firmware version available

When created, new device will placed inside device list as well
