Device list page shows the list of all the devices you are allowed to see or manage according to your user profile type and group permissions. The list can be sorted by machine name or serial number (ref. 1) and also filtered by model name, group name or status (online / offline) (ref. 2) . You can also use the free-text search box to find devices by name or serial (ref. 3)
The device page contains realtime data charts, firmware management, event log, notes and controls to edit device configuration (as long as you're allowed to). You can access it by clicking on device name (ref. 1 in below pic)
Actions menu (ref. 2 in above pic) lets you access some procedures regarding that device, depending on your authorization level.
Edit opens a pop up in where you can change, depending on your authorization, the device name, machine model, Location or contract expiration date (more about this options on Add device)
Change Group opens a pop up in where you can change, depending on your authorization, the group to which device belongs to (more about device groups).
Generate certificates generates a certificate for that device (more on that in the add a new device page). On success it returns a zip file containing the certificate files used to connect to the MQTT broker.
Pay attention: certificates generation will immediately invalidate the old certificates and any connection using the old certificates will be dropped and the device using them won't be able to connect again until the certificate is replaced
Provisioning is a procedure used to connect the VisupGateway to Things5. It open a popup and shows a token to copy and paste in the dedicated page of the gateway UI.
Delete opens a popup to permanently remove a device from Things5
Pay attention: Once confirmed, you will never be able to restore that device or its data!
When one or more devices are selected using the checkbox on the left (ref. 3 in above pic) Things5 provides a footer to perform some operations over the selected items, such as group changing or devices deletion.
